What is best hair styling gel for people who want to straighten thier hair? with really curl hair?

I have really red curly hair and I have used the following products in the past such as bedhead tigi-control freak, but so far I have had a lot of luck with Aveda Hang Straight line? I was wondering if there was a less expensive line out there that won't dry my hair out?

3. I love Hang Straight and have not found anything better.
4. i don't like using gels since they dry out my hair. I use serums instead and my favorite is Zero Frizz. Yoou can find it at Walgreens. That combined with a nice ceramic straighner like Sedu will do the trick.
5. I don't know about hair products that will help straighten your hair. But my sister has the most unruly hair I have ever seen, and the only thing to really do the trick is a straightener. After straightening, your hair will be shiny, and you won't even be able to tell it was ever curly.
