What is the safest hair gel or styling product for men?

I have VERY thick wavey hair. With that being said i have given up on cutting it short all the time so i have decided to grow it. I want to use a styling product but i hear that styling products can cause hair to fall. Anybody got an input?

1. there is none, all hair products are made with a chemical and wil make your hair fall out
2. Redken is probably the best you can use, and you can find it actually in most stores.
3. the only safe products i know are ........... 1) Hair Oil 2) Dont shampoo, your hair will make its own styling product..... bend on its own, curves, straight, any style at all:)
