My hair is natural. I there such a thing as waterless styling gel I can use after pressing my hair out?
I want to wear my hair in a afro puff "ponytail" but I want the front of my hair to look straight. I would usually do this by adding grease and gel but since I started grow my hair out natural I can no longer use styling gel. The water in most styling gels just curls my hair back up after I press it. Please help someone. Thanks

- My best advice is to use Herbal Essence's Spray Gel. It actually works pretty well.
- best thing to do is just use an oil or an organic shea butter based lotion, etc.
- I have naturally curly blonde hair and alot of times i like to straighten it because it looks longer. i found a really good product that doesn't weigh down my hair or give it that "wet" look. you could probably use it just where you need to and it not affect your afro-puff. it's by suave and called Sleek..it only costs like $1.50 and lasts a long time. For that cheap i don't see what harm it would do trying it:) i know this advice seems weird coming from me(since i'm white) but i wish you the best!
