Do advil liquid gels interfere with the pill?

I am on Alesse birth control and I was wondering if taking advil liquid gels for migranes or headaches would interfere with the pill and make it less effective. I've heard that it does but it doesn't say so in the pamphlet. Does anyone know for sure?

1. If it is not listed in the pamphlet or on the bottle of advil then it does not cause problems and the idea that it does is just a myth. I just checked my bottle of advil and there is no mention of it interfereing with bc. watch out for some specifice antibiotics (ones for tuberculosis especially) and St john's wort herbal remedies.
2. Nope! Antibiotics do but no, not ibuprofen.
3. I will not affect your birth control. Antibiotics and some herbal supplements will affect it though.
