What hair gel or mouse can i scrunch in my hair to give soft curls and not crunchy?

What product is the best to use to give me wavy/curly hair? I feel like ive tried all kinds of different kind of gels and my hair is always crunchy. I want a gel or mouse i can use that will give me soft curlss and not hard and stringy looking. 10 points

1. You can try beach sprays (Alterna Cavier Beach Spray) but most soft curls are done by a curling iron or hot rollers, not scrunching product into it. No gel or mousse will give you soft curls.
2. the john frieda curll line ..... i have really curly hair... mousse the top half of ur hair, and then use the gel on the bottom half... blow dry upside down with a diffuser and use volumnizer at the roots. u can finish off with a hairspray but dont have to.
3. The best is VO5 Mousse. I use it and it makes my hair have soft curls. It's the best!
