What is the BEST hair gel to make your hair wavy?

I would like to know the best kind of hair gels that I can use because my hair gets poofy and I want to style it wavey. I use the Aussie gel and it works ok, but its not amazing. Also, I don't want it to get my hair hard and solid looking too after the gel dries it tends to do that. I just want to make my hair look naturally wavey and soft and not frizzy, because it is really long and stright. Thanks!

1. I use the Aussie Catch the Wave mousse + Leave in conditioner and I LOVE it! I use it with my diffuser and then touch it up a bit with the Sprunch aerosol hair spray. Gels generally make your hair crunchy.
