Which is the best hair gel for hair which causes least damage?

Hi, I am a guy and I have very thick hair, when I get out of the shower my hair is always silky smoothe, but because I deteste wearing hair gel and chemicals on my hair, it gets dry after 15 mins. I heard that hair gel is harmful any alternatives???? Or if any GOOD hair gel that wont damage my hair?

1. i have NO idea where you have heard that gel is damaging to the hair...... but if you want an alternative use baby oil. it wont hold your hair in place like gel but will give it a nice sheen word of warning if you use it. rub the shampoo on your hair before you put water on it or you will never get it out!
2. Gel won't damage your hair. There are different types of gels, like alcohol free or some with a bit of oil in them. You should be using a conditioner too. Almost everybody uses some type of styling aid to manage their hair. Unlike what someone else said, don't put baby oil in your hair. Baby oil is just mineral oil with fragrance, and it won't do anything to help your hair; actually it can make it dry. Check out these links and read the reviews of the products. 3. I would say not to use chemicals on your hair.Why don't you go for some home remedies. Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier.
