Size limit on liquids and gels for checked baggage?
I there a bottle size limit on liquids and gels (shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, etc.) for checked baggage like there is for carry on luggage? I looked everywhere for this but could not find a definite answer that wasn't over three years old. Thanks in advance.

- I guess no, why should they do that? and what confirms that if there would be a limit you would find a lot of hassle talking about it
- You can have a 9 pound jug of shampoo in your baggage if you want. For your carry on all liquids must be no more than 3 oz.
- There is no size allowance for liquids and gels in checked luggage. "Reasonable quantities" are allowed, a number of normal sized containers of allowed liquids are fine. Bringing large quantities or gallon sized jugs of liquids would probably raise an alarm.
