What is the best men's styling gel for thin hair?

I would love to style my hair sometimes, but the problem is that I have very thin hair so anytime I use a styling gel to spike it make it a little messy, my hair just falls over to the side and it looks pretty bad. So what can I get to effectively style my thin hair and keep it standing straight up? Thanks for the help!

1. Well first of all, there really is no difference between "men's" and "women's" styling gel. I use the women's gel from aubrey organics (www.aubreyorganics.com) because it's actually cheaper than the men's gel
