How to use body mist/lotions/wash/gels and stuff?

I need help. After watching some of the youtube videos of haul, people keep buying like body mists, lotions, wash, gels and more stuff. I don't know how to use them properly. Please teach me the steps of using all of the body stuffs(showering and after showering). I really need to know.

1. Body mist is a fragrance. You can use it before or after shower. Lotion is a moisturizer. You can use before or after shower. Wash is either a facial or body cleanser. You use by the sink or in the shower. Gels as in hair gel?
